Zoë Carson is a fine artist born, raised, and currently based in Atlanta, Georgia. With an education from Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design, she works across acrylic painting, mixed media sculpture, and design through her creative studio, MIZO Studios. Her practice is deeply influenced by her upbringing in Atlanta, watching the rise of artists and creatives around her, as well as her multicultural background.

Her work lives at the intersection of personal memory and shared experience, drawing from moments in her own life and reimagining them through a lens that blends past, present, and future. The result is a series of scenes that feel both familiar and dreamlike, where layered textures, bold color, and immersive environments allow nostalgia and imagination to exist side by side. At its core, her work is about connection; how individual experiences can still resonate with something larger. The people and landscapes she creates become a visual language for emotions that are often difficult to put into words, reflecting the complexity of growing, remembering, and becoming. Inspired by the diversity and energy of Atlanta, her work embraces a wide range of influences while remaining grounded in personal storytelling.

By merging memory with world-building, Zoë invites viewers into spaces that feel intimate yet expansive.
